Family Promise can assist anyone in Morris, Hunterdon, Sussex and Warren counties apply for utility assistance . We help residents in need, from children to families to seniors. Services include: public assistance programs for healthcare, housing, food, and more financial and emergency help through the Office of Temporary Assistance access to mental health and substance abuse services job training and support prevention services for youth support for veterans disability services transportation for elderly and disabled people meals on wheels adult protective services for vulnerable adults at risk of abuse We also provide residential care for juveniles and youth at risk at the Juvenile Detention Center and Youth Shelter . Divisions Aging, Disabilities & Community Programming We provide information, referrals and direct client assistance for older adults, persons with disabilities, veterans and caregivers. Technical assistance and public speakers are available for local organizations. Community & Behavioral Health Services We plan, develop, provide and monitor a coordinated, publicly funded human services delivery system focused on, but not limited to, services for at-risk youth, low-income families, and vulnerable individuals. Community Assistance & Resources We help veterans, older and disabled residents, and residents in need of transportation, food, housing, and other services. Employment & Training Services We promote job seeker services in Morris, Sussex and Warren Counties for both adults and youth (ages 16 – 24) by providing unemployed and underemployed workers with information, advice, job search assistance, supportive services and training within in-demand industries needed to find and retain employment. Juvenile Facilities We manage the Juvenile Detention Center and Youth Shelter. Office of Temporary Assistance (OTA) We provide financial, medial and social services to people and families who meet program criteria, such as Medicaid and SNAP benefits. Workforce Development Board Our main purpose is to fund, plan and oversee services provided by the One-Stop Career Center system in Morris, Sussex and Warren Counties in New Jersey. Latest News COVID-19 Emergency Rental Assistance Program The COVID-19 Emergency Rental Assistance Program Phase II (CVERAP Phase II) will provide rental arrears and temporary rental assistance to low- and moderate-income households that have had a substantial reduction in income, have qualified for unemployment benefits, incurred significant costs, or experienced a financial hardship due, directly, or indirectly, to the COVID-19 pandemic. Emergency Rental Assistance for Arrears: Applicants may be eligible for up to a maximum of twelve months of emergency rental assistance to help pay for rent arrears and future rent to the extent that funds are available. Families that have already received CVERAP funding through Phase I of the program, that need additional rent support, and have not yet received the maximum twelve months of emergency rental assistance can apply for additional funding.
